2018-19 Panini Silver Prizm | NBA ROOKIE Pricing Ladder |12/3/18 | Back to reality | Who survived the fall?

Before you freak out with the consistent drops in Silver prices…remember, THIS IS NORMAL. It doesn’t matter if this is Topps Series 1, Bowman Draft, Contenders Football, or Prizm Basketball. There is always a pullback on single prices during the first two weeks. But the objective for an investor/collector is to watch what players look stable and/or strong during the pullback.

The average pull back PER PLAYER this report is 28%. — last year during this time the average pullback was 22%

The average Silver RC price is $35.31 — last year at the same time the average RC Silver was $42.37

Now, if we are using history as an indicator, here is what happened to AVERAGE Silver Prices last season:

Week 2 = -22% <– This report

Week 3 = –15%  <– ~Dec 9th

Week 4 = -1%   <– ~Dec 16th

Week 5 = +8% <– ~Dec 23rd

Week 6 = +7% <– ~Dec 30th

So…if you are looking for a good time to start going in on some of your Silver investments…. sometime between 12/9 – 12/16 might be wise. Obviously player performances can swing certain players’ pricing very quickly – but use this data as a guide to make the best possible investment
