I’ve done pricing ladders for all of the major sport releases EXCEPT Contenders Football. For the last 2 years I’ve stayed away from trying to filter, clean, and present Contenders Auto Ladders because it’s just too time-consuming and error-prone. Well… the time has finally come for me to put together the mega resource for Contenders Football. This took many hours to get properly set-up and cleaned up, but I’m really excited to give you VOLUME #1 of the 2018 Panini Contenders Rookie Ticket Pricing Ladder.
These ladders exist to help you understand the overall pricing of rookies within a product. In addition, I usually try to present a few of the random observations I come across while breaking down the data. All of this is done so that you can better prepare, research, purchase, and sell your cards!

NOTE: Rookie Ticket Autos are NOT NUMBERED and subject to the SP & SSP craziness each year. By looking at this data you’ll quickly see which Rookie Tickets are not seeing as much SOLD volume. In fact, if you go to the very bottom you’ll see a list of players that have NO SALES during this period.

THOUGHTS: I believe this is a $120-$150 auto. Likely the 2nd best RB in the class paired with the hottest player in the product.

Criteria
We run reports on all prospects’ Rookie Ticket BASE AUTO sales for a given period. We exclude any variation, auto, insert, graded, or memorabilia prices to make sure you are getting a good representation of the actual base auto pricing. We use Rookie Ticket Auto prices as a baseline because they are considered by many to be the de facto standard for “base” prospect cards for NFL players. We also do our best to remove the countless MISLABELED listings for players, but there is always a chance a random auction can slightly skew the #’s. We’ll keep a close eye.
